Administrator's Message
Dear Village School Families,
This week and next we have several special field trips in the works. Whether it's the break in routine, the unique places they experience, or the camaraderie of being with friends, these events are especially memorable and an important part of the school experience. When you listen to graduating students reflect on their experience here, they frequently recollect their times on these trips. Please be sure to ask your students about the highlights of their trips.
We hope all of you parents get a chance to join us for our 25th Anniversary Celebration this weekend. The musical performers include our alumni marimba band and Skeletons from the Closet, a Grateful Dead cover band with two alumni from 2010. We will have food carts including several operated by current and former Village School community members. Drinks will be from Ninkasi, also part of our Village School community. Another important part of the celebration will be testimonials from staff and former students, and a candle lighting event to pay tribute to our past, and commemorate our mission and community.
We look forward to seeing you all there,
Roz, Shannon and Andy

Commemorative Tiles for Our Courtyard Mural!
Check out our commemorative tiles to help fundraise for our courtyard mural. The tiles offer a great opportunity to share a legacy with our school. The tiles come in two sizes and businesses can upload their logos. They will be situated under the roof by the entrance to the Commons, right next to the location of the mural.
Please let us know if you have any questions.

5th grade put some love into the playhouse on Friday. They installed a new floor, painted/trimmed out the exterior, fixed up holes inside, and painted/installed chalkboards.
Thank you, 5th graders!

Village Kitchen
Today, students and staff ate produce from our very own school garden!

Big thanks to the fifth graders who planted lettuce starts this spring and harvested them for our salad bar this week.
