Hot Lunch

The VillageSchool offers a hot lunch program for all students enrolled in school, including Kindergarten children who stay for the extended Kindergarten program. Please be sure you have completed a Free and Reduced Meals Application.

Meals are provided through the 4J School District. Both vegetarian and non-vegetarian meals are available. There is no need to sign-up for meals; teachers will take a hot lunch count in the morning and students will go to the cafeteria to pick up their lunch.

Hot lunch payments may be turned in to the school office. Please make checks out to the 4J Food Services and include your child/ren's names on the check. If you would like to pay cash, please place your payment in an envelope with your child/ren's names written on the outside. Snacks

All students should bring a healthy snack from home daily, with the exception of the Kindergarteners. We encourage families to provide nutritious, non sugary snacks. Studies show that sugar has a negative effect on health and learning. Please do not send candy or soft drinks to school with your child. Please send a cloth napkin to school with your child for use during snack and lunch.
