The Village School Kitchen

Thank you Village School Families for your continued support of our food service program.

We are proud to be cooking meals from scratch using mostly organic ingredients and purchasing as much local food as possible.

Our success is largely due to many dedicated volunteers who help cook, serve and clean every school day. We are still in need of volunteers on some days. Please inquire in the kitchen if you have any availability.

As you look over the monthly menu with your child, please keep the following in mind:

Each lunch includes milk as well as fresh fruits and vegetables from our salad bar.

Our milk is local and organic from Umpqua Dairy.

We order as much produce as possible from local, organic farmers. We also order produce through Organically Grown Company, a locally owned and operated distributor.

Most of our dried goods come from Hummingbird Wholesale, another wonderful locally owned and operated distributor.

Our beef and pepperoni is local and organic from Deck Family Farm.

Vegan and vegetarian options are available every day.

We also serve breakfast every school day. Breakfast service begins at 8:00 and ends at 8:25. 

Adults are welcome to join us for meals too!

Qualifying for Free And Reduced Meals

Families can complete the Free And Reduced Meals (FARM) application to qualify for a free or reduced price for breakfast and/or lunch. We encourage you to complete an application even if you think you do not qualify, this information also helps our school qualify for Title I funding. Making Payments for Village Kitchen Meals

To pay for meals online, go to https://www.mymealtime.com/signin.aspx

If you have not already done so, please create a new profile. Once you have a username and password, you will need a specific student ID number to pay for your child's meals. You will choose the Village School, not the 4J selection.

Please contact the office for the student ID number or for any assistance.

On this website you can view which meals your child has eaten, view your balance and make payments, with a small fee.

Payments can also be made in the school office.
