Welcome to The Village School

The Village School is a holistic, arts-integrated K-8 elementary and middle school that was founded in 2000 as one of Oregon's first charter schools. Inspired by Waldorf education, The Village School provides a program that fully integrates the arts within an academic curriculum, educating the whole child—head, heart and hands. Movement, Handwork, Music and Spanish language classes are an integral part of the student's educational experience. We offer a unique educational experience that is unlike any other public school in this area.

Parent Information Meetings: 

• Wed. Feb. 18 from 6-8pm
• Sat. Feb. 21 from 10am-12pm 

Middle School Orientation:

for prospective students entering 6th-8th grades & their parents

• Wed. Feb. 25 from 6-7:30

You do not need to sign-up for the meetings.  Our lottery will be held on March 17th, 2009.
